Our Ceramic Wear-Resistant Epoxies are premium, two-part, trowelable, polymer systems containing high loads of graded 92% ≤ alumina particles that interlayers to form a seamless interlocking bed of alumina ceramic; submerged in a rapid curing, highly chemical-resistant epoxy Novalac Resin System to provide optimal wear-resistant linings and refurbishments to process equipment subjected to a high degree of abrasion and chemical attack combined with impact strength. In addition, this unique range of products utilizes Silane Technology to maximise the bond between the graded alumina particals and the epoxy resin, preventing the graded alumina from simply washing out as the epoxy resin wears down. Cheaper and inferior products on the market normally do not utilize this technology due to the high cost. We do not believe in compromising the performance of our products in order to cut back on costs, our focus is always to achieve optimal performance.

Product Selection

Cure Rate*

There are numerous of factors that will influence the final curing rate of the different products which includes but is not limited to following: the ambient temperature; the amount of moisture (water) added during application; the thickness of the application and the time the product spent in the bucket before application started. Therefore, although every care has been taken to supply accurate information, above figures can only serve as a calculated estimation.

Mixing**

We recommend making use of a mechanical stirrer ensuring that the Ceramic Wear-Resistant Epoxies are homogeneously mixed before application commence. It will furthermore dramatically improve your productivity compared to mixing by hand. A Bosch Professional GRW 18-2E 1800W with 0-450/1050min-1 or similar is recommended.
