Description
10mm thick (20mm x 20mm) studded 92% Alumina Ceramic Tile Strips are bonded directly onto a properly prepared head or tail pulley drum by means of a ceramic tile adhesive.
Installation Guidelines
These 92% Alumina Ceramic Pulley Line Tiles are supplied in 693mm long strips. Ensuring that the studded face of the tiles are exposed to grip the conveyor belt, bond these strips with a ceramic tile adhesive in straight lines across the properly prepared (preferably sandblasted to SA 2 ½) pulley face 10–15mm apart. After the tile adhesive has sufficiently cured fill the 10-15mm gaps in between the Ceramic Pulley Line Tiles with Supra-Fine HP Ceramic Wear-Resistant Epoxy to seal the pulley face and lock the Ceramic Pulley Line Tiles into position. Take care to apply the Epoxy thinner than the 10mm thickness of the Ceramic Pulley Line Tiles so that the Epoxy will sit lower than the tiles, this is to allow for water displacement.
